Music Video: Intro and First Scene Story Board

This is the first half of the Story Board, the Introduction scene and the start of the music video.

1: WS, Establishing shot of Cara and Boy, camera either pushes in or booms down from the ceiling, maybe comes from behind TV. Sound of Mr Gibson Film, 3 seconds.

2: CU of Cara looking at boy, phone vibrates and Cara looks down. 2 seconds.

3: CU of phone receiving message, Boy picks up phone, maybe from Cara POV. 1 second.

4: MS-WS of boy reading message, the message will pop up as text on screen. This will be done in post.

The message will read " Hey Where are you? :) Xx" Cara looks at him. Boy replies "just with a friend :) x" After sending the text the boy looks at Cara, Cara is upset. the music starts. 8 seconds.

5: MCU of Cara Playing guitar, focus change between hands strumming the strings and playing the chords. 2 seconds.

6: WS of Cara playing guitar on the end of the bed with the boy on the phone in the background. 2 seconds.

7: MCU of boy by the window, he is on the phone laughing. 2 seconds.

8: WS of Cara on the bed playing the guitar, the boy hangs up his phone as Cara sings the beginning of line 1, "Everyday is a disappointment"

9: This is the beginning part of the transition shot from the bedroom to the wall. MS of Cara on the bed, she sings "when it comes down to you" the boy passes her, she looks at him and he passes in front of the lens and coves Cara. The boy passes the camera on "you". 3 seconds.

10: This is the transition into the next scene of Cara on the wall. The boy passes and the camera stays on a MCU of Cara, similar shot as before. Cara sings the first part of line 2 " It seems like I'm your entertainment". 3 seconds.

This is only the Story board for the Introduction so far and we will show this to Cara and see if she likes it and has any opinions towards it.

The music video will be filmed in Wrexham, a Welsh town in North Wales. we have thought about possible locations for the video.
